Ivor :

Hello Didier,I have been looking at the progress of your rebuild with interest, not least of which because my car has just been completely restored and is very similar to yours. My 100 is chassis number BN2 - L/230115, body number 11355, was built in December 1955 for export to the USA, and is registered in the UK as GSK 116. She was returned from the USA in the late 1980s and totally restored by it's previous owner. I bought her in the early 1990s and have travelled just over 40000 miles since then.

Didier :

Thank you Ivor for the beautiful photographs and the details. The original color is splendid.

Ivor, I like your GSK 116 Healey

Over the Christmas of 2005/2006 we went on a tour of South America where the stone "gripa" roads in Patagonia fatally damaged the chassis necessitating another complete nut-and-bolt restoration at the Northern Healey Centre in Castleford, Yorkshire. The rebuilt car is to "M" spec and, like yours, is much modified with performance enhancing parts whilst remaining its original appearance. Reno Red is undoubtedly the best colour for a 100 !!! Didier :

Concerning my rebuilding, I come to receive all the aluminium body elements (With the 4 wings and 2 doors of the car). There will be soon the new photographs on the Web site. The car will be presented completely finished at the expo RETROMOBILE february 2008 in France. Thank you Ivor for this contribution.
